Baltimore Orioles
(CL) Jim Johnson (R)–Recorded his 25th save of the season on Wednesday after relieving Chris Tillman with one out in the ninth inning. Johnson has now pitched back-to-back days, but both outing were with low pitch counts so he could still be used on Thursday. (07/05/12)
(SU) Pedro Strop (R)–Was charged with his fourth blown-save of the season on Tuesday after giving up two runs on three hits and one walk. Despite the rough outing, Strop is still sitting on a 1.73 earned-run average. (07/04/12)
(MR) Darren O’Day (R)–Picked up the win on Tuesday night after retiring the final batter on the eighth inning on three pitches. With this outing O’Day improved to 5-0 on the season with a 2.36 earned-run average. (07/04/12)
Boston Red Sox
(CL) Alfredo Aceves (R)–Took the loss and was charged with his fourth blown-save of the season on Tuesday night after surrendering two runs on three hits. With this appearance Aceves falls to 0-6 on the season with a 4.32 earned-run average. (07/04/12)

(SU) Matt Thornton (L)– Pitched two innings of relief on Wednesday retiring all six batters he faced in order. With this appearance Thornton lowered his earned-run average to 3.06 on the season. (07/05/12)
(MR) Hector Santiago (L)–Picked up the win on Thursday after pitching one inning of relief giving up one run on one hit while striking out two batters. It wasn’t the best of outings from Santiago, but it was nice to see him keep it together and pick up the win. (06/29/12)
Cleveland Indians
(CL) Chris Perez (R)–Pitched a scoreless ninth inning on Sunday in a non-save situation giving up one hit while striking out two batters. Perez has pitched two of the last three days, but expect him to be available for Monday’s game against the Angels. (07/02/12) (SU) Vinnie Pestano (R)–Picked up his 20th hold of the season on Tuesday night after pitching a scoreless eighth inning. He gave up one hit in the appearance and forced one ground ball out and two fly ball outs to get the job done. (07/04/12)
(MR) Tony Sipp (L)–Pitched a scoreless eighth inning on Wednesday retiring all three batters he faced in order. He struck out one batter in the appearance while forcing two fly ball outs on 11 pitches thrown. (07/05/12)

Kansas City Royals
(CL) Jonathan Broxton (R)–Recorded his 20th save of the season on Friday night despite giving up two runs on two hits and one walk in the ninth inning. This was a rough outing for Broxton and luckily for him the Royals had a big enough lead that he didn’t blow the game. (06/30/12)

(MR) Aaron Crow (R)–Pitched one inning of relief giving up three runs on two hits and one walk while striking out two batters. This was a rough outing for Crow and with this appearance he raised his earned-run average to 3.34 on the season. (07/02/12)

(SU) Scott Downs (L)–Recorded his seventh save of the season on Monday night after pitching two innings of relief. Frieri had pitched the previous night, so Downs was used after being off for three straight days. (07/03/12)
(MR) Jordan Walden (R)–Pitched one inning of relief on Tuesday night giving up one run on three hits while striking out two batters. Walden has now given up at least one run in his last three appearances which has raised his earned-run average to 4.15 on the season. (07/04/12)
Minnesota Twins
(CL) Glen Perkins (L)–Recorded his fourth save of the season on Tuesday night after pitching a 1-2-3 ninth inning. Perkins has been great in the closer role since Matt Capps when down with an injury, and is proving why the Twins should move Capps before the trade deadline. (07/04/12)

(MR) Boone Logan (R)–Picked up the win on Wednesday despite giving up two runs on two hits while striking out two batters in the seventh inning. This wasn’t a good outing for Logan, but because the Yankees gained the lead in top of the eighth inning, Logan earned a cheap win. (07/05/12)

(MR) Brian Fuentes (L)–Pitched 1.1 innings of relief on Saturday giving up one run on two hits and one walk while striking out one batter. Fuentes has now given up six runs in his last three appearances and is in danger of being demoted if he continues down this road. (07/01/12)
