Jim Johnson (R)–Took the loss and was charged with his third blown-save of the season on Friday night after surrendering six runs on five hits and one walk in the ninth inning. He recorded just one out in the appearance in what was his worst outing of the season. (07/28/12)

Cordero has been horrible since taking over the closer role in Houston, but expect him to stay in the role despite the recent struggles. (07/26/12)
(SU)Wilton Lopez (R)–Failed to record an out in his appearance on Friday after giving up a hit to the only batter he faced in the ninth inning. Since he only threw three pitches, expect him to be available to rest of the weekend. (07/28/12)

Fernando Rodriguez (R)–Was charged with his third blown-save of the season on Friday night after pitching a scoreless seventh inning. He pitched well, but due to major league rules he charged with the blown-save. (07/28/12)

Los Angeles Dodgers

Kenley Jansen (R)–Recorded his 20th save of the season on Friday night after pitching a scoreless 10th inning. He gave up two hits in the appearance but was able to get out of the jam by striking out two batters and forcing one fly ball out. (07/28/12)

Ronald Belisario (R)–Was charged with his second blown-save of the season on Friday after surrendering two runs on three hits while striking out two batters. John Axford (R)–Pitched two innings of relief on Wednesday retiring all six batters he faced in order. With the recent struggles of Francisco Rodriguez, Axford may be in line to regain the closer role sooner than later. (07/26/12)

Kameron Loe (R)–Pitched two scoreless innings of relief on Thursday retiring all six batters he faced in order. He struck out three batters in the appearance while forcing three ground ball outs on just 13 pitches thrown. (07/27/12)

New York Mets
