Baltimore Orioles
(CL) Jim Johnson (R)–Recorded his 33rd save of the season on Monday night after pitching a scoreless ninth inning giving up two hits while striking out one batter. Johnson has now pitched three consecutive days and will likely get the day off on Tuesday. (08/07/12)

Pedro Strop (R)–Picked up his 18th hold of the season on Monday after pitching 0.2 innings of relief giving up one walk while striking out one batter. With this appearance Strop lowered his earned-run average to 1.29 on the season. (08/07/12)

Darren O’Day (R)–Pitched a scoreless eighth inning on Sunday retiring all three batters he faced in order. He struck out one batter in the appearance while forcing one ground ball out and one fly ball out on six pitches. (08/06/12)

Boston Red Sox
(CL) Alfredo Aceves (R)–Recorded his 23rd save of the season on Sunday after pitching a 1-2-3 ninth inning striking out one batter in the appearance. He has now pitched back-to-back days and will likely get the day off on Monday. (08/06/12)

Brett Myers (R)–Picked up his third hold of the season on Sunday after pitching a 1-2-3 eighth inning. He struck out one batter in the appearance while forcing one fly ball out and has yet to give up an earned-run since joining the White Sox. (08/06/12)

Matt Thornton (L)– Took the loss on Saturday after pitching one inning of relief giving up one run on two hits. With this appearance Thornton falls to 4-7 on the season with a 3.64 earned-run average. (08/05/12)

Chris Perez (R)–Took the loss and was charged with his third blown-save on Sunday after surrendering five runs on three hits and two walks in the 10th inning. He only recorded two outs in the inning before Miguel Cabrera hit a walk-off two-run home run. (08/06/12)

Jordan Norberto (L)–Pitched 3.2 innings of relief on Saturday giving up four hits while striking out four batters. He threw 64 pitches in the appearance so don’t expect him to be used on Sunday. (08/05/12)

(CL) Joe Nathan (R)–Pitched one inning of relief on Thursday night giving up one run on two hits and one walk. He gave up a meaningless home run in the ninth inning and has now given up four runs in his last two appearances. He has also pitched back-to-back days and could get eh day off on Friday. (08/03/12)

Mike Adams (R)–Picked up his 19th hold of the season on Saturday after striking out the only batter he faced to end the eighth inning. He needed six pitches to get through the appearance with three pitches going over for strikes. (08/05/12)

Kameron Loe (R)–Pitched one inning of relief on Sunday giving up one run on three hits in the appearance. Loe needed 17 pitches to get through the appearance forcing two ground ball outs to get through the inning. (08/06/12)
